Following the Winter Wheat Recommended List 2026, KWS EQUIPE stood out for grain quality, boasting the highest Hagberg Falling Number, second-highest KPH, and strong protein levels. With a yield rating of 106 and a Septoria score of 6, demand quickly outstripped supply (3% of available seed, largely reserved for multiplication).

  Agronomy Characteristics

  • An all-rounder wheat, very steady on grain, straw and disease – like Graham

  • Has bread making potential, Group 2 so excellent grain quality

  • Bred from largest EU wheat variety in multiplication - Chevignon so very stable

  • Excellent disease resistance for septoria, rust and mildew

  • Good to stand and clean head at harvest
